8/25/2025	Letterman Jacket Orders: Balfour is our new rep this year. They will be here for athletes to order letterman jackets on Monday, Dec 15 from 2-5pm, Monday Feb 23 from 2-5pm, and Tuesday, May 26 from 2-5pm. They will measure you and you will be able to see some of the options they offer in person. As a reminder, if you letter in the same varsity sports for 3 years then the GHS Booster Club will pay for the base price of the jacket and anything you have extra put on it will be at the athletes cost. Order forms and booklets will be in the athletic office for you.
7/25/2025	Attention Greenwood High Students: On the following dates, Lakelands Driving Academy will be offering the classroom portion of Drivers Education as well as the permit test here on campus right after school. The classes will start at 3:45pm and will end at 7pm. This class is for anyone needing a permit or drivers ed for their restricted license. You can take this class even if you are 14, but you won’t get your green envelope with your permit test results until your 15th birthday. The class is $40. Cash only and you will be given a receipt. This is a fundraiser for GHS, a portion of the proceeds go back to GHS. You must come by F132 or the athletic office and get a parent permission form if you are interested. If you have any questions, please email Coach Addis at addisk@gwd50.org. You must bring the signed parent permission form to the class. The money is due the day of the classes. Classes will be held in the GHS Library. Aug 14, Oct 23, Dec 11, March 5, and May 14
7/15/2025	Students are no longer allowed to get in free to athletic events with their student ID. Students will be allowed to purchase a Student Gate Pass for $75. This pass will be good for the 25-26 school year and can be used for all home regular season events. It must be presented with your student ID at the gate to be admitted. If you do not purchase a pass, students will have to pay regular price to enter an athletic event: $8 for Varsity Football Games and $7 for all other athletic events. Tournaments, Jamborees and Playoffs are excluded. If a pass is lost or stolen, it is $10 to replace it.
